Duchy Square Arts Centre, Princetown Devon |

 Duchy Square is a new build project providing an integrated business complex of 17 small work units, a teaching studio and a gallery/exhibition space, for the development of high quality arts and crafts enterprises, particularly for new entrants in creative businesses. This centre opened to the public in March 2009 and is managed by Integria Limited on behalf of Devon County Council. Integria is at present marketing the work units as well as “hot desking” facilities. A high quality resource centre will be available as well as on site business advice. The art gallery will attract high quality original art work. A number of varied and exciting exhibitions will be held.

Creative Careers project in Somerset Creative Careers has been a skill-provision project that has been working to engage adults of 19+ with the creative sector. The project has been delivered throughout Somerset and has worked with a wide demographic of people. Through working with small groups of participants Creative Careers has delivered specific sessions to meet various learning needs. This project has worked with a large number of arts facilitators and organisations and has provided signposting opportunities for individuals to discover how to further their skills and knowledge beyond project completion. |

Creative Business Boost (Somerset) |

 Creative Business Boost Project is based in Taunton, Somerset and was launched on the 6th July 2006 at the Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre. The Project offers Business and Technical support for Creative Businesses throughout Somerset. The project offers one to one business advice and access to a technical resource centre which includes printing and editing facilities. This project has worked on a bespoke basis with in excess of 350 creative businesses in Somerset offering business start up support, networking events, marketing advice, technical support and funding opportunities.
This project is now looking at working alongside the strategic plans of Somerset County Council to continue business support to the creative sector
